The Shelter Studio is a music recording and webcast facility located in Katoomba, designed for the creative community of the Blue Mountains.
​
For the last 10 years we have been the place in the Blue Mountains to rehearse, record and release music. For the next 10 we look to add broadcast, webcast and podcast to that list also.

Our Story
The Three "R"s....
In early 2009 a chance meeting at an Epicure show in Katoomba snowballed into a search for a comfortable, commercial space to rehearse and record music. By September the soundproof hebel bricks were being laid by the hands of studio owners Paul, Morgan and Andrew. The 300mm inner brick walls of the rooms spawned a working title of "the Bomb Shelter". In October 2009 we opened the doors of "The Shelter" with the aim to always continue building and improving our haven for creativity in the Blue Mountains.
